Crafty Corner allows young artists to explore and create all sorts of different kinds of art! Each week students are led through a different craft that helps develop their skills and self-expression. Explore a variety of crafts and mediums perfect for young artists who love to create!

Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6 pm. April 15, April 22, April 29, May 6, May 13 (5 weeks)
Sewing is a skill that at first may seem scary for little ones to learn. However scary it seems, with some trust, patience and clear instruction it becomes a skill that many young creatives are drawn to due to the ability to create usable objects! This class is the perfect environment for children to learn valuable skills!
Thursdays, 4:30 - 6 pm. April 16, April 23, April 30, May 7, May 14 (5 weeks)

Hand built ceramics is an ancient art form that has sustained humans for thousands of years. In this class students will learn the basics of hand built pottery while creating a variety of work!
Tuesday, 4:30 - 6 pm. May 19, May 26, June 2, June 9, June 16 (5 weeks)
Acrylic paint can often be a medium that is intimidating to young artists. In this class students will develop their painting abilities in a variety of different areas such as brushwork, colour theory, and other skills necessary to start mastering Acrylic paint.
Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6 pm. May 20, May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17 (5 weeks)
Join us for afterschool as we create art in a variety of mediums. Each class will start with a project for students to follow along with, then end with free exploration of the medium for that day!
Thursdays, 4:30 - 6 pm. May 21, May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18 (5 weeks)
Plan, assemble, build and paint your own 3D plaster sculpture. In this class students will have the ability to bring to life any object, or creature out of plaster! Students will learn how to develop a long term project, and the safest way to use a variety of different building tools.

Come explore hands-on art making with this clay class! Students will create several pieces of art, while learning the basics of clay creations.

Use your sewing skills to make fun and functional items. All equipment and materials will be provided.
MUST HAVE MACHINE-SEWING EXPERIENCE.
Please note: The instructor for this class has a severe allergy to chamomile. It’s a common additive to many perfumes and scented products. Please treat this as a scent free class.
