Join us for a one-of-a-kind workshop where you'll animate by hand on 16mm film to create your own short stop-motion piece - no experience needed! Participants will be taught an array of direct animation techniques to scratch, paint, draw, and collage on a film strip, and receive pieces of black, clear, and scrap film to create their own 15 second mini animation. Completed filmstrips will be given to the instructor at the end of the session to be scanned into a vibrant moving animation, emailed to participants as a digital file, and screened at Button Factory on May 2nd!

Snowdrops boldly push through leaves and snow to emerge and delight us as winter shifts into spring! Join us to create in wool, a needle felted Snowdrop scene. Your completed piece will be inserted into a window card that you can send or to be framed to enjoy!
