Collage from the French "coller" meaning to glue, was popularized in the mid 20th century by artists like Picasso and Braque. It is a simple art form with no rules that anyone can do. We will start with some basic principles of collage (how to build a background, add focal points and work on composition). You will then select the materials to be used and have fun making your own unique collage bookmarks on carboard paper.
