Whether you're a novice or advanced stitcher, this course will guide you through different projects to let you get more creative with how you use stitching. We will play with different hand stitching techniques to create stitched portraits, basic embroidery techniques, and fabric collaging to make something entirely unique -- all while doing our best to use old or found fabrics to promote environmentally friendly art techniques!

Supply List:

Creative Stitch Kit (available in BFA Gift Shop) or bring your own: 

• Embroidery Hoop (5” or 6”)

• Pack Embroidery Needles

• 1 metre white cotton fabric 

• several colours of embroidery floss

• re-cycled fabric
