This session will introduce participants to the beautiful art of the decorated letter as seen in medieval manuscripts. The session will have participants choose a letter from provided letter styles to create with it an illuminated style upper case letter. Letter design, use of embellishment

mediums and border patterns/designs will be taught. All materials will be provided and students should leave the session with a very nice piece of art.
