PRINTMAKING- Laser Woodcut printmaking with Justin LaGuff

Sundays, November 30 & December 14, 1 - 4 pm

$90+ $30 materials fee 

In this workshop, participates will be shown a method of image transfer in printmaking that involves using editing software and a laser engraver. Participants will create a collage that will help guide them through several considerations while deciding on the type of imagery to transfer.

Due to limited access, scans of these collage will then be engraved off-site by instructor and brought back to the studio. In the second session, everyone will been shown how to use the press and have  time to print their new laser engraved woodcuts.

1st session—Software demonstration and image-making with collage. 

2nd session—Press demonstration and printing. 

Walk away with an original new print and collage! Beginners are welcome!
