Participants will learn how to create beautiful acrylic landscapes from reference photos capturing nature. The class will focus on how composition works, including the law of thirds, and concepts of colour theory with the use of a colour wheel. Each lesson will focus on how to translate a photo into a painting successfully.

• Canvas (11x14 / 12x16)
• Flat course acrylic brushes in a few sizes
• water containers
• paper towels 
• Styrofoam plates as palette

• Ultramarine Blue
• Pthalo Blue
• Lemon Yellow
• Cadmium Yellow Deep
• Orange
• Bright Red (Vermillion or Cadmium)
• Pink (Alizarin Crimson/Rose)
• White
• Black
• Violet (good to have)
