Celebrate the vibrant colours of autumn in this relaxing watercolour landscape course. Learn how to paint glowing fall foliage, atmospheric skies, reflective water, and natural textures using simple watercolour techniques. With step-by-step guidance, you'll build confidence in colour mixing, composition, and brushwork while creating beautiful seasonal landscapes.
Supply list:
Watercolour paper (at least 140 lb), 9X12 or smaller. You can use a watercolour sketchbook as well.
Pencils, erasers, 1 round brush (medium), 1 round brush (small) and 1 Flat brush (1.5 inch)
Watercolour paints to include:
A Warm Blue - Ultramarine/Cobalt Blue
A Cool Blue - Pthalo Blue
A Warm Red - Pyrrole/Cadmium Red/Vermillion
A Cool Red - Alizarin Crimson/Opera Pink/Rose Madder
A Warm Yellow - Cadmium Yellow/ Nickel Azo Yellow/Indian Yellow
A cool Yellow - Lemon Yellow/ Hansa Yellow
A neutral - Indigo/Payne's Gray
A White gouache or gel pen for highlights
Good to have - Violet, Teal, Burnt Sienna, masking fluid/friskit

In this creative watercolour workshop, you will transform your favourite family recipe into a treasured keepsake. We will cover the anatomy of a recipe: structuring ingredients, measurements, and cooking steps. We will incorporate loose washes, sketches and creative layouts to make your journal a precious piece of artwork to pass on to future generations.

Learn to sketch inviting cafés, lush gardens, and vibrant urban scenes using expressive pen work and loose watercolor washes. Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike, this course focuses on observation, composition, and creating lively, atmospheric sketches.
