If you are looking to just develop some basic drawing skills or rediscover your drawing talents, this course is for you. An advantage of having drawing skills is that they can be applied to your work in most other art mediums and drawing can be enjoyed in most places at any time… easy to transport, store and cleanup. Participants will learn fundamental techniques and methods of drawing including such topics as the use of light and dark for realistic 3-D modelling of form, line, and perspective and more. Participants will work from objects and still life set ups to develop these skills.
Supplies list:
Set of pencils including at least 2H, B, HB, 2B
Artist eraser- kneadable preferred
Sketchbook 9” x 12”, suggested Strathmore 300, or other with at least 50lb paper
Thursdays, 7:00-9:00, May 21, 28, June 4, 11, 18, 25 (6 weeks)
