Canadian landscapes are inspiring and have all the components to make painting really fun! Rocks, trees, water and sky! Although this course is described for Intermediate level painters... all levels are welcome. We will be breaking the landscape into components, starting with the sky. Also, we will be mixing our colours from a fairly limited palette and some basic colour theory would be helpful.

    Supplies List:

Student grade acrylic paint (Amsterdam, Liqutex) in the following colours: yellow ochre, ultramarine blue, titanium white, burnt umber, cadmium red, raw sienna and burnt sienna (Please avoid craft paint)

Canvas 16" x 20" or larger, and practice paper (canvas paper or canvas board is a good option)

1/2 and 1/4 inch flat brush and whatever brushes you may have

    Disposable paper palette
